DetailsThis ballpoint pen is a tribute to Lorenzo de 'Medici, known as the Magnificent who ruled his beloved Florence in the second half of the 15th century; he was a great patron, intellectual, writer, poet, Florentine humanist as well as a prominent statesman of the Renaissance.
MAGNIFICA is a pen made by hand in precious black resin with elements in 24Kt gold bronze with cubic zirconia and red enamel on the head. The enamels are made with unbreakable and scratch-resistant materials. The stones are set by hand with traditional goldsmith techniques and the 24Kt gold plating is nickel free. Being the pen handcrafted the final product may differ slightly from the picture.
⚜All our writing instruments are handcrafted in our studio in Florence with traditional methods and techniques. Only a few people know that the first Italian fountain pen was built in the early 1900s in Florence by a goldsmith; we’re honoring such heritage with this new collection of ballpoint pens.
🎁All our pens are shipped in their gift box and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by ourselves (designer Valerio Salvadori and master goldsmith Marco Frangini). The ballpoint pen includes an international standard ballpoint refill with gel ink (Schmidt, Germany).
