DetailsDOROTEA is a handmade gold-plated bronze brooch featuring scratch-proof enamels that reference the stained glass windows adorning the grandest basilicas and cathedrals of Florence. A one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that has a subtle Art Deco feel. This brooch is meant to be worn on both important occasions and every day.
⚜Like all our jewels, this ring is handcrafted in our studio in Florence with traditional methods and techniques. Florence has an old, prestigious goldsmithing tradition and our production is the result of a storied heritage handed down from generation to generation.
The jewel is handmade in wax; afterwards, we proceed with the lost wax casting, the enamelling, the finishing and the final polishing. The 24Kt gold plating is nickel free.
Please note that the handmade nature of each item means that the crafts may differ slightly from the pictures shown online. No two items are identical and beautiful differences in color, size and shape should be embraced and celebrated.
🎁All our jewels are shipped in its gift box and are accompanied by a certificate signed by ourselves (Valerio Salvadori-designer and Marco Frangini-master goldsmith)
